The Windgap Foundation’s Residential Services is currently made up of 7 group homes, located within the Botany, Randwick and City of Sydney council areas – housing 28 residents. Day Programs

Day Programs provide people with an opportunity to participate in and be valued by their   community. People with a disability enjoy a range of meaningful activities including: life skills development, adult education, job skills, community participation, recreation and leisure. Read more…

Transition to Work

Windgap Transition to Work (TTW) is a 2 year program offering participants and their families a boutique, person-centred program promoting work and life skills in a wide range of industries for school leavers. The program is designed to provide hands on work experience in a range of working environments. Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE)

Windgap Enterprise provides supported employment to over 60 people with an intellectual disability. Services include: labelling, collating, light assembly and packaging. Read more…

 

Growability

Growability is an enterprise of Windgap Foundation and our teams are trained and managed by experienced garden care professionals
Our Growability team offers the following services:
Lawn mowing and Lawn Care
Garden Maintenance, Improvements and Upkeep

Transition to Retirement

Windgap’s Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) workshop in Eastlakes has approximately 60 supported employees, many of whom are at, or approaching, retirement age. Across the country, other ADEs are in a similar position and FAHCSIA has recognised that retirement for loyal employees is an urgent matter.  Read more…
