Our Wish list programs, equipment and initiatives are all about providing Windgap participants the opportunity to become more empowered, independent, develop life skills, and participate in meaningful ways within the community.

Each Wish List item comes with a sponsorship package which includes promotional and PR opportunities to recognise your involvement and support of Windgap.

Learning and Life Skills Program Sponsorship $8,000 - $12,000

The aim of this program is to empower adults with disabilities to reach their full potential and ensure continued learning; supporting independence, skill development and participation opportunities. Programs include:
- Phone and smartphone training
- Cooking and healthy eating programs
- Language, literacy and numeracy skills programs
- Public transport and road safety
- Health, wellbeing and personal development programs
- Budgeting, shopping and money skills

Garden Makeover by Horticultural Course at Gale Road $6,000 - $10,000

Support our Horticultural Course and our Gale Road Supported Living home by sponsoring this garden makeover project. Outcomes include:
- Empowering adults with disabilities to reach their full potential
- Providing skill development and continued learning to progress towards additional work experience or a career in gardening maintenance
- Provide an accessible and beautiful outdoor space for our participants who live at one of our Supported Living homes
- Development of a sustainable vegetable garden for our Supported Accommodation residents to maintain and enjoy

Money Management Program Sponsorship $5,000 - $7,500 - Kindly sponsored by CommBank Community Grant

This sponsorship package will assist in empowering adults with intellectual disabilities to reach their full potential and ensure continued learning; supporting independence, skill development and participation opportunities. Learning outcomes include:
- Banking skills and account management
- Shopping and saving
- Safety and security
- Digital and device training
- Literacy and numeracy
- Increased confidence and independence

Commercial Juicer for Tukka Box Café $3,000

This sponsorship package will provide a healthy alternative for our participants purchasing goods at the Tukka Box Café. Outcomes include:
- New skills in juice making for our participants working in the Tukka Box Café
- Promotes healthy lifestyle and healthy choices
- Developing new skills and following recipes
- Increase sales through the Tukka Box Café
- Education in reducing environmental impact through the research of bio-degradable cups and straws
- Elimination of waste through the juicing of surplus fruits and vegetables
- Increased independence and confidence for participants

Cultural Diversity Program $4,000 - $6,000

Inclusion of community facilitators and educators from a range of ethnic and indigenous backgrounds to coordinate traditional and cultural programs supporting community participation, and cultural inclusion and diversity. These may include the facilitation of:
- Arts
- Cooking
- Music
- External tours and landmarks

Making Airwaves Radio Re-Launch Program $10,000

This sponsorship package will help empower adults with disabilities to reach their full potential and ensure continued learning; supporting independence, skill development and participation opportunities. Outcomes include:
- A voice for intellectually disabled adults, allowing them to discuss their interests, hobbies and challenges or issues within the community
- The opportunity to learn new skills and engage in capacity building to further develop language, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Building social and communication skills
- Creativity, this program is a great outlet to do things differently and express new ideas
- Opportunity to interview and meet new people, participate in the community and have fun!

Accessible Garden for Bega Ave $10,000 - $25,000

Help provide an accessible garden for one of our Supported Living homes by sponsoring this garden makeover project. Outcomes include:
- Provide an accessible and beautiful outdoor space for our participants to live at our of our Supported Accommodation homes
- Provide herb and garden beds at an accessible height for our residents in wheelchairs
- Support the build of pathways throughout the outdoor space to provide easy access to the space
- Development of a sustainable vegetable garden for our Supported Accommodation residents to help maintain and enjoy
